Suffolk and Norfolk Constabularies have joined forces to deliver an improved free police messaging service called Police Connect, which will be launched on 1 November.
Police Connect will provide you with even more choice when it comes to receiving information direct from the police, by e-mail, text or phone, about the issues and places that matter most to you.
Benefits to you
There are lots of advantages to knowing what is going on in your local area or areas you are interested in such as where you work or where a vulnerable relative lives.
You can take steps to safeguard yourself and your property, you may need to change plans, or re-route, because of an incident nearby or you may even be able to help us solve a crime. It’s also a great way of finding out about local policing events and meetings. By receiving messages through Police Connect, you are kept in the loop.
Next steps
We are no longer accepting registrations for our Police Direct system.
In the next few days we will be contacting all existing Police Direct users to encourage them to re-register for Police Connect and details of how to register for the service will be made available on our website and via other channels.
The registration process takes just a couple of minutes and will ensure we have the right information about you and what you want from Police Connect.
Register for Police Connect
Registration for Police Connect will open on Thursday 22 October 2014..
