A man has died following a serious road traffic collision in Hoxne. Police were called at 9.55am this morning, Thursday 15 February, to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1118, involving a silver Kawasaki motorbike and a red Volkswagen T-Roc. Ambulance and fire crews were also in attendance, along with a critical care team from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS). Despite the best efforts of all the emergency responders, the rider of the motorcycle – a man aged in his 30s – sadly died at the scene. The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened. Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
