The first Coffee Caravan visit of the year is always welcomed by villagers but the Tuesday April 17 visit was even more special than usual. The Rural Coffee Caravan Information Project came with Sky TV cameras and despite a downpour more than 20 braved the weather or squeezed into the caravan for the visit. Sky Information TV’s Caravan FinderTV was featuring the Coffee Caravan in a section on unusual uses for caravans. We'll let you know when its on. But they weren't the only welcome visitors that day with PCSO Steven Long popping in to hand out goodies and slow traffic with SID (a Speed Indicator Display) in the centre of the village. And the SKY TV visit prompted Radio Suffolk's Lesley Dolphin's Dart to land on Redlingfield the next day so that her afternoon programme include reminsces from villagers as well as a chat with the Coffee Caravan's Ann Osborn. The pictures show villagers and the RCCIP's Sally Fogden packed inside the caravan and PCSO Long being interviewed in the rain.
