Benefice Associate Priest Rev Eleanor Goodison conducted a short ceremony at the B-17 memorial in Redlingfield on the morning of November 19th. Villagers and 95th Bomb Group Heritage Association members gathered to remember the young American servicemen who lost their lives on that morning in 1943. Parish Council chairman Mike Ager laid a wreath, which had been expertly made by Beverley Abbott. Reg and Scott Bradley, in period uniform, provide an honour guard. See website for more on the memorial and those lost. Poppy wreaths had been laid at the memorial and the First World War memorial at Redlingfield church during the previous weekend.
